2006 Season: The 2006 Griffins will be led by seniors Steven Clark, Tyler Smith, Kyle Burdett, Logan Flagg, Tom DeWesse, Ian Perez, Bret Sinclair, Clay Collier, Andrew Severin, Chris Soto, Chris Platt, Nick Brucculeri, Garrett Diulio, Greg Patino, Wes Wenze, Taylor Buekes, Jon Fonte, Ryan Weatherman, Paul Alvarez, Mike Iacono, Peter Papageorges, Neal Janssen, Mike Prencavage, Andrew Goldman, Alex Hays, Scott Seal, Ken Borg, Jon Wethe, Malcom Mafi, and Greg Snyder. This season began with a sophomore Clark Evans in the starting quarterback slot.  Fortunately, running back Chris Soto gave Evans time to get experience.   The senior back ran for 178 yards against Coachella Valley, then followed that with 170 against Dana Hills and a school record 371 yards in a 35-15 win over LB Wilson. But the young Griffins ended their  season with consecutive league losses to Esperanza and Edison and then Mission Viejo in the playoffs.
